In 1937, the Rajasthan Vidyapeeth was established by the Padit Janardan Raj Nagar in Udaipur city of Rajasthan. The educational Institute attained its university status by the Indian ministry of Human Resource development along with the UGC (University Grand Commission) on 1987.
